Did I Make an Impact at My Recent Keynote?

My Keynote:

“You Have 18 Months to Get Ready”

But Did I Make an Impact?

When you give a keynote talk, you always wonder what’s coming through to the audience. In my recent speech to INCOSE, I challenged the 800 people in the hall with some strong ideas about how AI would impact on their work in the coming years. I told them they have about 18 months to get a clear AI strategy in place. And I’m very happy to report that the audience definitely got the message.

Robin Yeman of Leidos posted this to LinkedIn:

“Amazing keynote by Langdon Morris this morning!”

And Sven-Olaf Schulze of LeiXCON has posted this to LinkedIn:

“ The most provocative keynote speech at an INCOSE conference in a long time. A REAL keynote!”

Sven-Olaf also posted this photo collage, and went on to beautifully summarize the entire talk, in which he definitely captured the message that I wanted to deliver:

The Digital AI Decade is a game changer and will transform everything in the coming years. ChatGPT, LLM, bots, agents, etc. are just the beginning of the future. Exponential change stops at nothing and is transforming the world across all industries and domains. In all industrial and technological changes, there have been and will be winners and losers. Be quick and dynamic; the future of projects is linked to rapid testing and release. Released products use outdated AI. Analyze and recognize the pattern to solve the problem.

The roadmap with the phases is ready:
2026: Agent networks is the net step
2027-2028 Agent Robotics
2029 – 2030 Artificial general intelligence (AGI)
From 2031 – Singularity – AI will overtake human intelligence

The digital storm is coming, and from 2031 onwards, the singularity phase will begin, in which AI will govern life on Earth. On the way there, humanity will think differently and adapt. AI has an impact on six areas of, which Langdon has deposited with examples from the field of digital twins and people in organizations.

Prepare yourself and have a strategy as a company, a roadmap and a training and education plan ready – you have 18 months left – after that you are the loser.

There is a lot of food for thought and has stimulated discussions on during the conference. Will it happen that way? Where does the energy and hardware come from? Who produces all these products and systems? What will humanity do from 2032 onwards? A REAL keynote!

I’ve posted the video of my talk to our AI Impact and Strategy YouTube channel:

This talk and workshop were the fourth keynote and fourth workshop I’ve led in the last couple months, and through them all I’ve really been able to really hone the message and deliver big impacts to the audience. People are getting the message, and they’re taking it very seriously (as they should).

Giving these talks and workshops is a lot of fun and I’m learning everywhere I go. Thus, I’m actively looking for more opportunities to share the message, so please let me know if your organization needs to hear this message too. I’m offering a generous 50% discount off my normal fees if you mention that you’re a subscriber to our newsletter, and I’m also offering a nice bonus pack of our printed materials if you make an introduction to a prospective group.

In addition to our two recent books, The AI Nation and The AI Future, we’ve created a highly detailed workbook that poses the critically important questions that you need to ask yourself as you begin to prepare for the consequences of AI for yourself and your organization.

So are you ready to be a winner in the next era? Let us help you …
